First impressions
The King of Pentacles is truly the King of the Castle. At one with his surroundings.
What is happening in the card?
The King of Pentacles sits comfortably on his throne, decorated with bulls’ heads. He is quietly smiling, his gaze turned down at this where his hand rests lightly on the golden Pentacle on his knee.
His robes of green, decorated with lush bunches of grapes, seem to blend with his surroundings. He wears a jewelled golden crown over a red headdress.
He sits safely behind a wall and we see a castle and mountains in the background. The yellow sky is cloudless.
How can we relate to this card?
The King of Swords is the master of the element of Earth, the realm of physical and material wellbeing and security. Air of Earth.
Leaders of their suit, Kings represent accomplishment, responsibility and discipline and as with the other court cards they can represent an aspect of your personality or a masculine energy or person in authority in your life.
When the King of Pentacle appears he may indicate a certain level of achievement, success and comfort in your work or home life. He could also represent a supportive father, authority figure, boss or colleague.
