What is happening in the card?
An attractive young man stands on a platform by the sea. One hand on his hip and the other holding up golden cup from which a fish is emerging.
The shape of the fish seems to be echoed in the shape of his pale blue hat. He is dressed in pink shirt and leggings. His tunic is matches the blue of his hat and is decorated with what look like pink and white tulips.

Message & affirmations
Today, and every day, I step out into the world with an open heart and a curious mind. I allow myself to dream and to imagine all the possibilities that life has to offer me.
My personal experiences of this card
I go along with the idea of Pages, or Princesses, as different aspects of The Fool. They are the young and the curious characters of the Tarot deck.
And my favourite rendition of the Page of Cups has to be this sweet boy from Lacey Bryant’s Slow Tarot seen below with his cohort of pages and princesses. He reminds me of my brother when he was a little boy.
Events, situations & readings
In a relationship spread:
The page or princess in a love and relationships spread might suggest a new love connection or a message from someone you love.
In a work/career spread:
The Page of Cups encourages you to use your imagination in your work, to get creative and allow yourself to dream.
People & interaction with other cards
With The Fool or the Ace of Cups the Page of Cups encourages us to be open to new relationships and romance. Love may take you by surprise.
The Fool also reminds us that the Tarot Pages lack maturity and in the case of the Page of Cups this may indicate emotional immaturity… a tender heart, yet to be broken.
When this page appears with The Moon it is an indication that you should tap into your intuition and pay attention to your dreams – allow yourself to dream even.
