Message & affirmations
Today, and every day, I step out into the world with an open heart and a curious mind. I am grounded, willing to learn and I embrace new opportunity with both hands.
My personal experiences of this card
I adore the Page or Princess of Pentacles, and all her names: Princess of the Echoing Hills, Rose of the Palace of Earth, Daughter of the Mother of Earth.
For me, she often represents my niece. A beautiful, talented young woman whose Zodiac sign is Taurus. She seeks order and beauty, appreciates good food and nice things, and takes meticulous care of physical herself from top to bottom, right down to what she puts in her body.
Enviably adept and highly coordinated, she’s happy to take on any physical challenge that might present itself – dancing, riding, skateboarding, playing pool. She loves learning and perfecting new skills. If something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well – there’s no half-arsing it here.
And the same is true of the Princess of Pentacles in her personal relationships. She’s extremely loyal and capable of holding a long grudge if you hurt someone she loves. Perhaps a little stubborn at times.
This Princess has a strong connection with nature and is a fierce animal lover and protector.
My absolute favourite is the Princess of Disks from The Thoth Tarot. In this deck we see a glowing young woman who is pregnant – on the brink of creation. She radiates a gentle warmth as she gazes down into the earth which emits a light up at her. To me she looks like she is guarding a precious secret. Gestating. Preparing to create. A beautiful earthy energy.
I also love the cool earthy vibe of The Lightseer’s Page of Pentacles.
Pages, or Princesses, can be viewed as different aspects of The Fool. They are the young and the curious characters of the Tarot deck.

People & interaction with other cards
With The Fool or the Ace of Pentacles, the Page of Pentacles encourages us to be open to new experiences.
When the Princess of Pentacles appears with The Empress and or the Queen of Pentacles, it might relate to a pregnancy or creative project that is in the early stages.
And if the Princess of Pentacles were the join forces with her sisters – the challenging, always questioning Princess of Swords, the passionate, fiery Princess of Wands and the creative, idealistic Princess of Cups – I think together they could change the world.
